Ajax vs Brighton odds
Saying Ajax are having a season to forget is a little bit of an understatement. The Dutch side have picked up just eight points from their opening nine games in the Eredivisie so far in 2023/24, struggling at the bottom of the table. They did end a four game losing streak across all competitions last weekend however, with a 2-0 victory over fellow strugglers FC Voldenam, but they have a long way to go to get back on track.
Things haven’t improved in Europe either, with the Dutch giants yet to win a game in Group B, following up back-to-back draws against Marseille and AEK Athens with a 2-0 away defeat to Brighton in the reverse fixture. They also have a poor record against English opposition, have lost each of their last five matches.
Brighton, meanwhile, have finally gotten to grips with European football in their debut campaign, coming back from 2-0 down to earn a point with Marseille and winning the aforementioned reverse fixture 2-0 thanks to goals from Joao Pedro, who made it four goals in three games in the Europa League this season, and Barcelona loanee Ansu Fati. The Seagulls have struggled to pick up wins on the whole, however, drawing four and losing three of their last eight matches across all competitions.

Ajax vs Brighton match tip
Joao Pedro to score anytime @ 2/1 with Unibet
Despite struggling to nail down a starting spot in the Premier League, Joao Pedro has shone in the Europa League, finding the back of the net four times in just three appearances in the competition. The Brazilian has scored in every match so far against AEK Athens (2), Marseille and the reverse fixture against Ajax and could become just the fourth to score in four consecutive games in the competition before turning 23, after Victor Moses, Romelu Lukaku and Amine Gouiri.
