Erik ten Hag’s side have already beaten Saturday’s opponents Everton twice this season (2-1 in the Premier League and 3-1 in the FA Cup) and a win here would see United beat the Toffees three times in the same campaign for the third time in their history (1993-94 and 2015-16 being the other two).
Everton, meanwhile, have won just one of their last 29 Premier League away games against Man Utd (D8 L20), a 1-0 victory in December 2013, but are looking to score in 10 consecutive league games against the Red Devils for the first time in their history, with each of their last three league visits to Old Trafford ending as a draw.
The Toffees have picked up 12 points in their nine Premier League matches under manager Sean Dyche (W3 D3 L3), seven more than they won in their final 12 Premier League games under Frank Lampard (W1 D2 L9), but are without a win in each of their last 12 away games across all competitions (L8, D4) and have picked up just one away win in the league all season (1-2 vs. Southampton in Ocotber).

Man Utd vs Everton match stats
Marcus Rashford made it 28 goals across all competitions with his strike against Brentford, equalling the record set by Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Bruno Fernandes for the most goals scored in a season for Manchester United in a single campaign since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure. The Englishman has now scored as many league goals in 2022/23 as he managed in each of the previous two seasons combined (15 in 62 games) as he made it 12 goals in just 14 league appearances at Old Trafford this term.
The 25-year-old has also scored more Premier League goals than any other player since football returned after the World Cup break (11), just ahead of Erling Haaland and Harry Kane (both 10).
Man Utd have won 38 Premier League games against Everton, the second highest amount of wins one team has against another in the competition (Man Utd 39 vs Tottenham), while the Toffees have scored in each of their last nine Premier League visits to Old Trafford.
