Everton vs Fulham: Predictions
Carlo Ancelotti’s men have recovered well from their shock home defeat to Newcastle, beating Leeds United at Elland Road before snatching a last-gasp 3-3 draw against Manchester United in their last Premier League match. Since then, of course, the Toffees have also found their way past Tottenham in a remarkable 5-4 extra-time win in the FA Cup fifth round. Everton are just three points adrift of Liverpool in the fourth and final Champions League spot with two games in hand on the red half of Merseyside.
Fulham, meanwhile, are in dire straits at the bottom half of the table. Scott Parker’s men are enduring the longest current winless run in the Premier League, failing to win any of their last 12 games in the competition. As a result, the Cottagers remain 18th in the table, now eight points adrift of safety. The one saving grace is that during that 12-game streak, Fulham picked up eight draws and only lost four times, proving they are capable of grinding out results. That said, Parker needs his players to start converting some of those draws into wins quickly.
