Chelsea will be playing their final domestic game for two weekends here before the depart for the Club World Cup. The London outfit have been a mixed bag of late with one win, one draw and a defeat in their last three. In the last round of the cup they defeated National league side Chesterfield 5-1 going in ahead 4-0 at half-time.
At Stamford Bridge, the Blues are undefeated in all competitions since September winning each of their last three. Hakim Ziyech enjoys playing in front of his own fans and has two in his last two appearances. Not since January 2015 have the London outfit lost an FA Cup home time to a team outside the top-flight going down on that occasion to Bradford.
Plymouth booked their place in the fourth round with a 1-0 extra-time success away to Championship side Birmingham. It has been a mixed bag for the Pilgrims of late with four victories, two draws and three defeats in the last nine. They sit seventh in the League One table just three points behind the play-off spots.
On the road, the South-West side have won just one of their last three and three of their last seven. Their road games tend to feature goals with both teams scoring and over 2.5 goals in each of their last three. In fact, Plymouth have netted at least once in each of their last 11.
Chelsea vs Plymouth: Match Stats
Chelsea are likely to make changes at the back in order to keep the squad fresh ahead of the Club World Cup. Chesterfield managed a goal against them in the last round and a Plymouth side who have scored in each of their last 11 games. The home side should progress with few problems so back a Chelsea victory and both teams to score.
One player expected to get the start here is Callum Hudson-Odoi who also netted in the previous round. He will fancy his chances against an away defence that has shipped ten goals in the last four goals. Back the Chelsea player to net at any time here.
