Chelsea were in action Wednesday night when they beat Malmo 4-0 while in the Premier League they came through against Brentford 1-0 thanks to a Ben Chillwell goal and the heroics of Edouard Mendy. They sit top of the table one point ahead of Liverpool and two ahead of Man City in what looks a clear three team title race. At Stamford Bridge, the Blues have played four times beating Southampton, Villa and Palace (scoring three in each) and losing to Man City.
Norwich battled out a goalless draw with Brighton last time out and if it wasn’t for striker Josh Sargent missing an open goal could have took all three. That hunt for an elusive win remains but back-to-back draws and the struggles of Burnley, Newcastle, Watford and Leeds means there is renewed hope for them in the relegation battle. They need to pick up some away form as you have to go back to November 23rd 2019 for the last time the Canaries won a top-flight game on the road.

Chelsea vs Norwich: Match Stats
It should be comfortable for Chelsea here given the gulf in quality between the two sides but with Norwich having tightened up at the back recently and the London outfit not prolific and missing striker Romelu Lukaku backing a home win and under 3.5 goals looks the play.
It is difficult to know if Ben Chilwell or Marcos Alonso starts here but with the latter coming off the bench for the former in the Champions League in midweek it will likely be the Englishman who gets the nod. He scored against Brentford and is allowed so much freedom to attack. The Canaries biggest weakness comes from overlapping on the flanks so back him to score at any time.
