Celtic vs St Mirren: Predictions
On the back of their first win in their last five league games, Neil Lennon will be hoping his side can push on in hope they can reduce the 23-point gap to leaders Rangers. Draws have been a huge blow to Celtic’s efforts to make in 10 league titles in a row and defeat in the Old Firm only added to their misery.
St Mirren also ended their winless run in the league with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Dundee United. However, Jim Goodwin will be aware of the task at hand with only one win over Celtic in the previous 20 meetings between the two sides.
Lennon’s side have already faced the Saints once this season with a 2-1 victory at St Mirren Park in September despite conceding in the third minute.
Goals have been an issue for St Mirren in the league, with only 21 goals in their 22 games played. The Saints have scored the third least number of goals in the league which will concern Goodwin as his side come up against the side with the second least amount of league goals conceded this campaign.

Celtic vs St Mirren: Match Stats
Odsonne Edouard continued his fine form in front of goal with his second-half strike against Hamilton during the week. The French international has now netted eight times in the league and will have his sights on adding to that tally against a St Mirren side with only six clean sheets this season.
The Hoops were in front against Hamilton after just 12 minutes during the week. Celtic’s incredible record against St Mirren will give Lennon’s men huge confidence going into this game and they will look for a quick start stamp their dominance as they did midweek.
