Burnley are in 19th place with just two points from their opening six games. They will take heart though from a couple of encouraging performances including a 2-2 draw at Leicester last time out thanks to a Maxwell Cornet strike and a Jamie Vardy own-goal.At Turf Moor, the Clarets drew with Leeds and suffered narrow single goal defeats to Arsenal and Brighton.
Norwich have had a nightmare start to the campaign with no points from their first half-dozen matches a run that means they have lost 16 straight Premier League games. They were marginally better against Everton but failings in both boxes still meant they went down 2-0 in this fixture.Away from Carrow Road, the Canaries have lost all three this season and failed to net in any of them.
Burnley vs Norwich: Match Stats
The hosts look good value to claim all three points against a Norwich side who have been poor and look woefully short of confidence.Burnley haven’t been great but showed attacking intent in their recent games with Leicester and Arsenal and could not ask for better opponents to get that first victory against.
Chris Wood will be a popular bet to get among the goals here but it is actually midfield and especially the wingers that Norwich struggle most with.Dwight McNeil is not prolific but he should have acres of space and opportunity against the Canaries and looks a good anytime scorer option.
