Burnley vs Fulham: Betting tips, predictions, odds & match preview
Burnley and Fulham are set to face off in the Premier League this Sunday in a fixture that could have huge implications at the bottom of the table.
Burnley vs Fulham: Predictions
Burnley are hoping that their dreadful start to the season will be left as nothing but a painful memory come the end of the campaign. The Clarets had picked up just two points in the first seven league fixtures of the campaign following a slow summer in the transfer market, but their form has improved dramatically in the following eight games.
A first win over Crystal Palace in November has kickstarted a run in which Sean Dyche’s men have lost only twice, picking up a total of four victories and indeed they have now dropped just two points from a possible 12 in their last four home games, which could spell danger for the visiting Fulham this weekend.
The Cottagers’ trip to Turf Moor could be in doubt given that their last scheduled fixture against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night was postponed due to a number of positive COVID-19 tests in their camp, but if the game does go ahead the Londoners will be heading north on the back of four consecutive Premier League draws.
Although the point gained against Liverpool in the first of those four draws will have pleased Scott Parker, he may feel that his side could’ve earned all three in the subsequent ties with Newcastle United, Southampton and Brighton & Hove Albion although an altogether different test awaits in the shape of Burnley here.
