Quite incredibly, Brighton are unbeaten against Chelsea in their last five games, completing the double over them last season. Their only other previous win against the Blues prior to 2022/23 was their first-ever meeting against the club in 1933. It’s been one-way traffic since then bar those last five matches.
Pochettino will be itching to give Nkunku some more minutes following his late flurry against Wrexham on his unofficial debut. The French forward scored 23 goals last season across all competitions for RB Leipzig so should really bring some attacking firepower to Pochettino’s frontline, as he did at Chapel Hill on Wednesday.
