Both teams find themselves in the middle of a surprising season, Brentford pushing for Europe and Leicester trying to stay up. Brentford sit eighth in the table and can dream of the Champions League as they sit seven points off Tottenham with a game in hand. Leicester are nervously looking over their shoulder as they are just out of the drop zone on goal difference.
The hosts are flying at the moment with just two defeats in their last 17 Premier League games. They were in action in midweek when they won 2-0 away to Southampton. At home, the Bees are unbeaten in nine winning four of their last five.
The Foxes are struggling losing five straight in all competitions (four when just looking at the league). They were last in action last weekend suffering a 3-1 home loss to Chelsea. On the road, it is back-to-back defeats and four losses in five for the East Midlands outfit.
Brentford forward Ivan Toney is a man in form having netted eight times from his last 11. Leicester wish they had a player in similar goalscoring form as none of their strikers have registered more than four goal this campaign although midfielders Harvey Barnes (nine) and James Maddison (eight) are chipping in.
Brentford vs Leicester match stats
Brentford have won four of their last five at home with Liverpool among their victims. Leicester have lost four of their last five on the road going down to defeats at Southampton and Nottingham Forest. The price on the home win being evens then is a shock and this looks the value play.
Ivan Toney will be licking his lips about going up against a Foxes defence that has not kept a clean sheet since November 2022. The forward has had 2+ shots on target in three of his last four Premier League games. Sky Bet has enhanced him to 6/5 to do the same here (register 2+ shots on target) and this offers good value.
