Brazil vs Colombia: Predictions

Brazil could not have asked for a better start to their Copa America title defence this year.

Tite’s men have scored seven goals without reply in their opening two Group B games, which have brought commanding 3-0 and 4-0 wins over Venezuela and Peru respectively.

Just one point from their remaining two outings would be enough for the nine-time champions to secure their passage into the knockout stages.

The Selecao will be confident of building on that against an inconsistent Colombia, who are looking to bounce back from defeat to Peru.

La Tricolor have only managed two goals from three games so far, but a point here should be enough to guarantee progression to the last eight.

Brazil vs Colombia: Match Stats

A resurgent Brazil have now won each of their last nine games; keeping a clean sheet in eight of those.

The Samba Boys’ quest is being led by the irrepressible Neymar, who has scored seven times in as many games; taking his international tally to 68 and just nine behind Pele’s record.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward will fancy adding to that against Colombia, who have won just two of their last eight and only beaten the Brazilians once in the last 30 years.
