Brazil will be looking for a measure of revenge on their opponents here having lost out to them in the Copa America final in the summer. The South Americans remain the bookmakers favourites to lift the World Cup in 2022. Qualification is usually easy for the giants of their continent but they will be eager for revenge against their old rivals.
Argentina will come into the fixture full of confidence following their success in the summer which was their first major trophy since 1993. They should have few problems with qualification but keeping the momentum going against Brazil will be important.
