Dortmund got back to winning ways last weekend with a 2-0 road success at Stuttgart thanks to a Julian Brandt brace. Wolfsburg put a losing run behind them with a comprehensive 4-0 defeat of Arminia Bielefeld.
The hosts sit in second spot with five games remaining here and a victory would pretty much (other than a huge swing in goal-difference) confirm their place in the Champions League next season. The visitors sit 13th and with eight points between them and the relegation spots they should be ok.
At their own place, Dortmund have won four of their last six in the league but did lose last time out here going down 4-1 to RB Leipzig. The visitors are poor travels winning just one of their last nine on the road losing six of these.
You would usually associate Dortmund with goals but in fact just one of their last six has gone over 2.5 goals. Goals tend to follow Wolfsburg around with five of their last seven going over 2.5 and 14 combined from their last four.
Erling Haaland leads the line for the home team with 16 goals while Marco Reus has nine and Julian Brandt seven. Lukas Nmecha has eight for Wolfsburg including a brace in his last outing.
Dortmund vs Wolfsburg: Match Stats
Although Dortmund have been a lot more conservative in recent weeks they are playing opponents here who like to attack. The hosts should have too much firepower so back them to win and both teams to score.
One player who is looking to big to score is Maximillian Arnold who has three goals in his last nine. Despite this he is going off at double figure odds with Virgin Bet to score at anytime and this looks worth taking on.
