Wednesday’s hosts have not won in the previous six Ligue 1 games, losing five and conceding 11 goals in those games. However, in those previous six Ligue 1 games, they have only scored three times which has seen Jean-Louis Gasset’s side slip down to 11th place in the table.
Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG bounced back after losing to Monaco just over a week ago and their emphatic win against Dijon on the weekend saw them close the gap to league leaders Lille to just two points. A defeat and results going against them could see PSG drop down to fourth spot in just one game so they will be aiming for nothing less than all three points.
Bordeaux will have been pleased with their first-half efforts on the weekend as they took a slender 1-0 lead into the break. However, their second-half performance was not as pleasing as they conceded twice to lose out on the points as Metz stole the victory in the dying seconds.
Kylian Mbappe continues to impress in the absence of Neymar and the 22-year-old added another two goals to his name on the weekend which took his Ligue 1 total up to 18 for the season.

Moise Kean has excelled in Ligue 1 this season – given his struggles in the Premier League. The on loan-Everton striker has scored 17 times in 31 appearances across all competitions this season and the striker has netted 11 of those in Ligue 1. Kean also impressed in the 4-1 victory over Barcelona in the Champions League last month and he will certainly have his aim on adding another goal to his name against a shaky Bordeaux defence.
Bordeaux held PSG to a 2-2 draw earlier in the season, but with the top spot in touching distance it is expected Pochettino’s side will begin to turn the screw in the league and they will look to keep their joint-best defensive record intact with just 17 goals conceded this season in the league.
