Birmingham were tipped by many experts to struggle this season but picked up a useful point on the opening day away at Luton after a goalless draw. The Hatters were the better team but the Blues created opportunities from set-pieces and held firm at the back.
At St Andrew’s, the second city outfit had seven victories, six draws and ten defeats in 2021/22 and they will be looking to improve on this. Their final three games here last season saw both teams score and over 2.5 goals and with John Eustace talking about a commitment to attacking football this could be a common occurance this campaign.
Huddersfield lost their opening game of the campaign 1-0 at home to Burnley and were never really competitive. The Terriers looked disjointed and offered little of note going forward and looked vulnerable at the back.
Away from home, the Terriers only lost six times last season winning on ten occasions and drawing eight. They managed a victory at this ground in 2021/22 but they had a very different team on that occasion.

It is likely that these teams are going to be in a similar tier this campaign and that is not reflected in the match prices. Adding home advantage for Birmingham into the mix and the hosts look worth taking in the draw no bet market.
