Belgium vs Croatia: Predictions
Ranked number one in the world, Belgium will be hoping this is the year they finally land their major first silverware.
Third place at the 2018 World Cup, Roberto Martinez’s men are eight unbeaten heading into their final warm-up clash before Euro 2020, where they will face Denmark, Russia and Finland in Group B.
The attacking talent on display here will be envious with the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne lining up against Ivan Perisic, Luka Modric and Ante Rebic.
Following a recent struggle that saw them lose four of five games, World Cup finalists Croatia are unbeaten in three since and looking to build momentum ahead of their opening Group D showdown with England on June 13.

Belgium vs Croatia: Match Stats
You must go back to a 2-0 defeat by Spain in September 2016 – and Martinez’s first game in charge – for the last time Belgium were beaten on home soil.
Leading their charge will the red-hot Lukaku – a scorer of four goals in as many starts for his country – while he also bagged a brace when the nations last met in October 2013.
But the Red Devils have kept just two clean sheets during their current eight-match unbeaten run and that will encourage Croatia, who have only failed to score once in their last 25 outings.
Although, Zlatko Dalic’s have struggled on the road with just two wins from their last 13 away games, while losing four of the most recent six.
11 October 2013: Croatia 1-2 Belgium – World Cup Qualifier
11 September 2012: Belgium 1-1 Croatia – World Cup Qualifier
3 March 2010: Belgium 0-1 Croatia – Friendly
10 September 2003: Belgium 2-1 Croatia – European Championship Qualifier
29 March 2003: Croatia 4-0 Belgium – European Championship Qualifier
There has been little to separate the sides in recent years; indeed just a single goal at maximum in the last four meetings. Just under eight years since the last showdown, we can expect another closely fought encounter here.
