Bayern have won all five of their games in European competition when hosting an Austrian opponent, scoring 15 goals and only conceding three. Their most recent such fixture came against RB Salzburg back in November 2020, with Bayern running out 3-1 winners in a group stage meeting. Before their latest meeting Bayern and Salzburg have met twice before; across those meetings, which the German champions won each time, they’ve netted nine goals while conceding just three times.
