The two Spanish giants collide at King Fahd International Stadium for the right to play either Atletico Madrid or Athletic Bilbao in Sunday’s final.
Barca are back in familiar territory. Indeed, they have been ever-presents in the Super Cup since 2015.
And for all the Blaugrana’s troubles this season, Xavi has overseen a six-match unbeaten run heading into this clash.
Meanwhile, Madrid have only suffered one defeat from their last 18 matches in all competitions; that coming courtesy of a shock 1-0 reverse at Getafe at the start of the year.
Five points clear at the top of LaLiga, the main focus for Carlo Ancelotti’s side will be on regaining the domestic crown.
And claiming the first Spanish silverware of the season would provide them with a confidence boost that would go a long way towards helping them achieve that.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid: Match Stats
We can certainly expect goals here. In addition to the attacking talent at the disposal of both sides, neither have been particularly sharp defensively of late.
Indeed, Madrid have failed to keep a clean sheet in four matches, while Barca have registered just one from a possible nine.
The biggest goal threat is likely to come from LaLiga’s 17-goal top scorer, Karim Benzema. The France international has found the net five times in his last five appearances across all competitions.
