Burnley vs Arsenal: Predictions
It’s been a strange season for Burnley so far, with the Clarets struggling to find any real consistency but managing to steer clear of the relegation zone as things stand. That wasn’t always the case, with Burnley occupying bottom spot at the start of November, still winless after eight matches.
Sean Dyche’s side have now won seven games and sit 15th, but they remain only five points clear of the relegation zone, being brought back into the battle at the bottom as a result of their own poor form and the results of teams around them. The Clarets have won just one of their past seven league games, and go into this game off the back of a heavy defeat at the hands of Tottenham.
It’s also been a strange year for Arsenal who are still fighting to bridge the gap that came with their horrid run of form in November and December, in which they failed to win a game. Five victories from six did see the Gunners move up to ninth but they have faltered once again.
Arsenal go into this game with just two wins from their past six league matches, and are now 10th, seven points behind the guaranteed European spots. But they did win at the weekend, coming from behind to beat third-placed Leicester to show real resolve and end keep their hopes alive.

Burnley vs Arsenal: Match Stats
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang enjoys playing against Burnley, scoring seven goals in six Premier League games against the Clarets, more than he has managed against any other side in the competition. He will be well-rested ahead of this game, only making a six-minute cameo at the weekend, and will hope to end a two-game goal drought against Burnley.
Although Arsenal have not kept a clean sheet in their past seven games across all competitions, they come up against a Burnley side that have scored just 18 goals in the Premier League this season, the second-worst in the division.
