The two guiding lights of German football meet on Sunday when second-place RB Leipzig travel to face league leaders Bayern Munich.
Bayern will be full of confidence following six straight wins in the Bundesliga.
But their opponents, the winter champions RB Leipzig, have lost twice and drawn the other of their last three matches in all competitions. This has seen them drop behind the reigning champions and crash out of the DFB Pokal.
Hansi Flick’s side have finally found their form following back-to-back defeats against Leverkusen and Monchengladbach. For Leipzig, and head coach Julian Nagelsmann, the challenge is to resurrect the form that recently saw them go 13 unbeaten in all competitions.

Ones to watch
Bayern Munich: Robert Lewandowski
What can be said about Robert Lewandowski that hasn’t been said before? The Polish striker is a Bundesliga legend and remains the standout player in this Bayern side.
The 31-year-old has been in incredible form again this season, leading the division’s scoring charts and he is the focal point to all the attacking play of Hansi Flick’s side.
He is on course for another Golden Boot and, if Bayern win on Sunday, yet another Bundesliga winner’s medal.
Key stat: Lewandowski has netted 22 goals in the Bundesliga this season, more than any other player in the division.
RB Leipzig: Timo Werner
Lewandowski’s counterpart in this RB Leipzig team is perhaps the player most capable of denying him both aforementioned objectives. With 20 goals this season, Timo Werner is Lewandowski’s closest rival for the Golden Boot.
The Germany international leads the line with incredible poise, speed and skill and, as far as Sunday’s line-up goes, it is a case of who will partner Werner in the Leipzig attack.
The 23-year-old is expected to get a big move in the not so distant future as Real Madrid, Liverpool and Chelsea continue to be linked with the striker, and with good reason. He has netted an incredible 70 goals in just 113 Bundesliga games for Leipzig since his arrival from Stuttgart in 2016.
Key stat: With 20 goals and six assists, Werner has been directly involved in more goals than any Bundesliga player this season.

The upstarts from east Germany could impose a new order on the traditional powerhouses of German football if they can win at the weekend. It is a huge encounter in the context of this current season, but in Bayern Munich, you have a team who has been in this situation many times before.
This experience, plus having home advantage will make Bayern favourites going into this one and with six straight wins behind them, they could well make it a magnificent seven here.
