The German side have been good in the Basketball Bundesliga this season with four wins and one defeat from their five games, but something just hasn’t clicked in the EuroLeague.
Bayern opened the season in defeat to Fenerbahce, which was to be expected especially considering how the Turkish side has started, before a close defeat to Virtus Bologna. Barcelona and Olimpia Milano were the next two teams to beat Bayern, with the four defeats following a pattern of double-figure losses and close encounters. Last time out Bayern lost the battle of the winless sides, handing Crvena vzezda their first win of the season with a 78-72 loss in Belgrade.
