Ones to watch

BATE Borisov: Stanislav Dragun

BATE Borisov’s Stanislav Dragun

Stanislav Dragun has forged himself a reputation as a goalscoring midfielder since joining BATE Borisov in 2017 and this season has been no different.

Already, he has three goals in six Premier League appearances and the 31-year-old Belarus international will be the one to watch again as BATE look to take another step toward the top of the table.

Key stat: Only Dinamo Minsk’s Evgeni Shikavka (4) has scored more goals than Dragun in the Belarusian Premier League this season.

Neman Grodno: Gegam Kadimyan

Level on goals with Dragun is Neman wide man, Gegam Kadimyan, who opened the scoring against Energetik-BGU last time out.

A 12-time Armenia international, Kadimyan has seen his career disrupted by injuries until this point but looks to have adjusted brilliantly to life in Belarus following his transfer from FC Alashkert in his homeland earlier this year.

Key stat: After just six games, this is already Kadimayan’s best league goal return (3) since the 2015/16 season.
