Barcelona vs Osasuna live stream: How to watch La Liga online

Barcelona will be looking to get their La Liga campaign back on track when they face Osasuna on Sunday afternoon (1pm UK time).

The Blaugrana lost to Atlético Madrid last week and have won just one of their last six games in La Liga, drawing two and losing three. Their form has been extremely troubling and only their Champions League performances have provided some relief.

An example of how much they have struggled is the fact that they’re down in 13th place, level on points with opponents Osasuna. Jagoba Arrasate’s men have done well given their limited resources and the fact that star striker Chimy Avila is still out injured, and will feel confident coming to the Camp Nou, where they won last season, although that they could only draw against struggling Huesca was poor.

So, will Barcelona pick up a much-needed win, or will Osasuna make it two consecutive victories at the Camp Nou?

Barcelona & Osasuna’s previous line-ups:

  • Barcelona (vs Atlético Madrid): Ter Stegen; Roberto*, Piqué*, Lenglet, Alba; De Jong, Pjanic; Dembélé, Messi, Pedri; Griezmann.
  • Osasuna (vs Huesca): Herrera; Roncaglia, Unai Garcia, David Garcia*, Cruz; R. Torres, Oier, Inigo Perez, Jony, Ruben Garcia, Budimir

Barcelona will be without Sergi Roberto and Gerard Piqué as the Catalan pair picked up long-term injuries against Atletico Madrid that will keep them out for months. Sergino Dest should come in at right-back, while Oscar Mingueza could make his La Liga debut after impressing in the Champions League. Samuel Umtiti, Ronald Araujo, Ansu Fati and Sergio Busquets are long-term absences.

Osasuna have a number of absences themselves for the trip to Barcelona, including Avila, Brandon, David Garcia and Adrian Lopez. Jonathan Calleri, Aridane Hernandez, Juan Perez and Lucas Torro are all doubts.

Players to watch:

Barcelona: Lionel Messi is the best player in the world and is still an elite creator but in front of goal, he has been less than reliable this season. No one has taken more shots than his 34, and no one has hit the target more times than his 18. Yet he’s only scored three goals and two of those were penalties. That finishing form has to change, and who better than Osasuna to spark that change? Messi has scored 24 goals in just 20 games against them, and after being rested in the Champions League in midweek, he should be fresh, fit and ready to fire himself back into goalscoring form.

Osasuna: Of the five goals Osasuna have scored against Barcelona in the last five years, Roberto Torres has bagged four of them. He notched a consolation in a 7-1 defeat back in 2017 then, least season, he scored twice in the 2-2 home draw before slamming home a stoppage-time winner at the Camp Nou. Torres has just one goal so far this season but who better than his joint-favourite opponent (four goals is the most he’s scored against any one club) to get him back among the goals?

La Liga 2020/21 recent form:

  • Barcelona: LWDLL
  • Osasuna: DLLWD

Scoreline prediction: Barcelona 4-1 Osasuna
