The first season of the Ronald Koeman revolution at Barcelona has not gone too well but that fortunately doesn’t carry over to FIFA 21.

Despite still being in the title race with a few games left to play, Koeman just hasn’t been able to get the best of the Blaugrana squad he inherited in difficult circumstances.

On FIFA 21, however, Barcelona remain one of the best teams with the best player in Messi.

But how do the rest of the squad match up, especially after most of the campaign? We’ve got you covered. Read on for Barcelona’s FIFA 21 player ratings and stats in full.

Squad list and ratings based on players in latest downloadable update at time of publication on PS4 version of FIFA 21 (11/05/2021).

Barcelona’s FIFA 21 ratings: Goalkeepers

Marc-Andre ter Stegen remains one of the best goalkeepers in the game, with his 90 overall bettered only by Jan Oblak, but there is a fairly steep drop to his backup Neto, with the Brazilian’s overall at 82. Third-choice, and usual Barcelona B goalkeeper, Iñaki Peña is 67-rated.

Barcelona’s FIFA 21 ratings: Defenders

Barcelona’s defence is pretty much the same as it was in FIFA 20, with only Sergino Dest (75-rated) signed last summer. Gerard Pique may have dropped in overall by two from FIFA 20 but he has kept his 86 rating through and remains one of the top defenders in the game. The Spaniard is joined on that number by  Jordi Alba, who kept his overall from FIFA 20. Sergi Roberto and Clement Lenglet also have respectable ratings of 83 with Samuel Umtiti one behind, while Junior Firpo, Ronald Araujo and Oscar Mingueza make up the defensive roster.

Barcelona’s FIFA 21 ratings: Midfielders

Midfield is Barcelona’s strongest department when it comes to depth in numbers, but it is lacking in quality outside of the big names. Sergio Busquets continues to be the highest rated, with an overall score of 86, but he is not alone, with Frenkie de Jong joining him. Philippe Coutinho (83) and Miralem Pjanic are the two remaining Barcelona midfielders with an overall higher than 80. There is then a big drop to the likes of Riqui Puig and Pedri whose ratings fall in the 70s while another sextet are in the 60s.

Barcelona’s FIFA 21 ratings: Forwards

As we mentioned, Lionel Messi is the best player in FIFA 21, with his overall of 93 unmatched in the traditional game modes. Also among Barcelona’s attacking options are Antoine Griezmann (86) and Ousmane Dembele (83). As with the midfield, there is a drop to the next batch of Barcelona forwards, with summer arrival Trincão having an overall of 77, one higher than wonderkid Ansu Fati (though his potential is great and he has missed most of the season through injury) and Martin Braithwaite. A trio with ratings in the 60s complete Barcelona’s team.

Barcelona forward ratings for FIFA 21: Lionel Messi (93), Antoine Griezmann (86), Ousmane Dembele (83), Trincão (77), Ansu Fati (76), Martin Braithwaite (76), Rey Manaj (68), Alex Collado (68), Konrad de la Fuente (64).
