Atalanta vs Lazio live stream & team news: How to watch Serie A online

Atalanta and Lazio will continue their fight for a spot in Serie A’s top four when they face on Saturday at 2pm (UK time).

Although the campaign is just 10 games in, things are tight at the top with just four points separating fourth-placed Roma and Fiorentina in eighth. Embroiled in the middle of that battle are Atalanta and Lazio, who sit fifth and sixth respectively. Atalanta have the upper hand, sitting one point clear of Lazio — who have lost two of their past five (winning three) — and go into this game unbeaten in three.

Sarri praises Lazio side after Fiorentina win

Things haven’t been great at Lazio in recent times with the club failing to win three of their past six matches in Serie A, falling down to sixth, among other reported behind-the-scenes problems. The club were put in ‘ritiro’ prior to the Fiorentina match, which means the players were living at the club’s facilities with the sole focus of steadying their form.

It’s only one game but it appeared to have worked as Pedro’s goal early in the second half was enough to secure all three points for Lazio, keeping them just two points behind rivals Roma in fourth.

And Sarri was pleased with his side’s performance, feeling Lazio were better against Fiorentina than they were in victories over Roma and Inter Milan.

“I think we played the best game of the season, even better than those against Inter and Roma,” Sarri told DAZN.

“We were solid defensively. One of the plans that we had prepared was to move [Sergej] Milinkovic-Savic forward to create a four vs. four, we did it well and we scored.

“We lacked a bit of courage at the beginning, but the goal helped us get over it. We had three technical players in midfield. Luis Alberto was very much determined. Milinkovic-Savic did really well.”
