Aston Villa team news
After coming off the bench in their win at Burnley, former Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho could start against his old club. Steven Gerrard elsewhere is expected to make few changes with Ollie Watkins and Danny Ings, another ex-Red, leading Villa’s forward line. Watkins is Villa’s top scorer with 10 goals, three of which have been the first of the match. Ings has been nearly as impressive with seven goals, including five match-openers.
Liverpool team news
There’s no major injury or suspension worries for Liverpool heading into this latest round of Premier League fixtures. Jurgen Klopp, though, could shuffle his pack with Diogo Jota and Naby Keïta both pushing for starts. James Milner and Joel Matip are two other players who could come into the Reds starting lineup. Someone expected to start is Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian forward has been Liverpool’s main man this season. He’s their most prolific player having netted on 22 occasions. Salah also leads the Premier League’s golden shoe race.
