Arsenal are the most successful team in FA Cup history, winning the trophy 14 times in total.
The club’s most recent triumph came last season as Mikel Arteta’s side mirrored their 2017 victory, beating London rivals Chelsea 2-1 in the final.
That has capped a good run in the competition for Arsenal with four victories in six years, having also won the FA Cup in 2014 and 2015.
Prior to their 2014 glory, Arsenal went nine years without FA Cup success, or any trophy for that matter. But that doesn’t mean they didn’t have magical moments in the FA Cup during that time.
On January 9, 2012 Arsenal hosted Championship side Leeds United in the third round of the FA Cup. This was not just an ordinary third round tie, however.
It also marked the second debut of Thierry Henry, with the Arsenal legend returning to the club for the first time since 2007, on loan from New York Red Bulls in the MLS off-season.
Henry was a substitute but came off the bench and, of course, scored the only goal of the game within 10 minutes to spark emotional scenes at the Emirates Stadium.
But can you name the 14 players Arsenal used in the third-round game, including the entire starting XI and three substitutes? We’ve given you one, but you have seven minutes to get the rest. Good luck!
