Arsenal predicted XI vs Liverpool: Predicted lineup, team news and injury updates
Arsenal are expected to welcome Bukayo Saka back to the starting XI for Sunday’s trip to Anfield after the England international was reduced to a substitute role for last weekend’s victory over Leeds.
Saka did not take part in full training ahead of the win over Leeds as he battled an illness, though he was deemed fit enough to play a role in the second half.

The Gunners are expected to be without William Saliba, who is still yet to return to training following an injury sustained in the Europa League last-16 second-leg defeat to Sporting Lisbon.
Rob Holding has deputised in recent weeks and is again expected to fill the void left by Saliba as Arsenal chase a first Premier League win at Anfield since 2012.
The club appear reluctant to put a timeframe on Saliba’s recovery, with manager Mikel Arteta confirming last week: “[Saliba] is progressing. He still has some discomfort in his back. We are trying to manage him in the best possible way.”
Meanwhile, Ben White is set to continue at right-back despite managing an injury. He played the full 90 minutes of the victory over Leeds despite Arteta confirming afterwards he had been battling “some issues” in the build-up to the game.
The trip to Liverpool will come too soon for Eddie Nketiah, while Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny remain sidelined as they continue rehabilitation.
