Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira reveals his dream move

Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has revealed that it is his “dream” to play for Argentinian side Boca Juniors in the future.
The Uruguay international supported Boca as a child and has professed his love of the club, which boasts a huge following in South America.
Will Torreira join Boca one day? Five things you need to know…

The majority of South America’s finest players spend their best years in Europe, but retain a close allegiance to a club from the continent of their birth.
Torreira, who is preparing for Arsenal’s vitally important Europa League final match against Chelsea later this month, is no different.
An immediate move to Boca is certainly unlikely, but the midfielder would relish an opportunity to pull on the famous blue and gold shirt before he hands up his boots.
He said: “One day, I want to play for Boca and wear their shirt.
“It’s a dream I have had since I was a little kid. It’s no secret, my family and friends know that.”

Arsenal first, Boca later
It is completely understandable to hear a player talk so passionately about the football club that he loves. After all, the initial love of football comes from being a supporter and can, in turn, develop into a professional career for those lucky few.
However, Torreira’s love affair with Boca Juniors will need to be put on hold as he and his current employers prepare for their most important fixture for quite some time.
There are just 10 days to go until Arsenal’s pivotal Europa League final clash with Chelsea, with Torreira’s professional mindset surely completely focused on the task ahead.
The midfielder has made 11 Europa League appearances this season, including outings in both of Arsenal’s semi-final victories over La Liga side Valencia.
If Unai Emery’s side secure victory, they also secure Champions League football which could make a massive difference to the direction of the club heading into next season.
