Elena Rybakina gained headlines in Paris last year after she eliminated Serena Williams in the Fourth Round of the French Open, but the 22-year-old would ultimately exit the competition to eventual finalist Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the quarters. The 31-year-old’s best return in a French Open came exactly a decade ago, finishing in the Fourth Round in Paris’ 2012 showpiece, losing to Kaia Kanepi in three sets. The Netherlands native is the underdog on Court 13 against a right-hander nine years her junior, but on this “Manic Monday” in Paris, anything can happen.
