After suffering back-to-back defeats against Oleksandr Usyk – the first seeing him lose his WBA, WBO and IBF belts – Joshua will be desperately looking to stop the rot here.

The most recent of those defeats came last August, and he must recover from that disappointment to work his way back up the heavyweight division.

But he will not be underestimating Franklin.

The American trained alongside Tyson Fury in the build-up to his bout with Dillian Whyte at Wembley Arena in November, when he subsequently suffered his first loss in 22 bouts.
