The Buffalo Bills are the early favourites to finally land that elusive Super Bowl crown. The Bills, who were four-time runners-up in the 1990s, head the betting for Super Bowl LVII, with Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and this year’s champions Los Angeles Rams just behind.

Who is the NFC favourite to win the Super Bowl?

With legendary quarterback Tom Brady reversing his retirement decision, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head the Super Bowl betting on the NFC side. Brady’s experience is backed up by the big-money re-signings of wide receiver Chris Godwin and cornerback Carlton Davis III as the 2021 champions seek to regain their crown.

Who is the AFC favourite to win the Super Bowl?

Punters have clearly been impressed by Buffalo Bills’ free agency signings, which have propelled them to favourite status.  Edge Von Miller is a huge defensive acquisition from the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams, while adding versatile running back Duke Johnson to the roster looks to be fantastic business for the Bills.

Bookmaker’s Dark Horses for the Super Bowl?

Initially we did like the big odds available about the Cleveland Browns following that blockbuster trade for QB Deshaun Watson. But he could yet face a suspension over allegations of sexual misconduct, so there is a major note of caution attached.

The Arizona Cardinals, who have invested substantially in their own talent by re-signing running back James Connor and tight end Zach Ertz, could also tempt a few punters at a best price of 33/1.

Finally, we’re not sure why the Cincinnati Bengals are so big at 22/1 – they reached the Super Bowl last season and have massively upgraded their big weakness since – that leaky offensive line. They appear to be terrific value right now.

Squawka NFL’s Outside Bet

They may be some way off the team which won three Super Bowls in the last decade, but the New England Patriots have signed wide receiver Devante Parker and can be backed at 40/1. – they’ll be hoping quarterback Mac Jones makes a ‘sophomore leap’ in 2022.
