NHL player props<\/strong> are bets on what one player does rather than on who wins. Shots on goal, an anytime goal, points, assists, power-play points. This page carries the Canadian board whenever a live one is up, explains the five markets you can actually bet here, and says which of them are worth the trouble.<\/p>\n

The board is between captures. The most recent Canadian prop board we hold was taken on 2026-10-20, and every game it covered has now been played, so there is nothing live to show you. A fresh board posts when the next capture runs. The markets and the guidance below do not change, and tonight’s games are on our NHL schedule<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

NHL player props: the current board<\/h2>\n

We only quote prices for games that have not started. Nothing on the last board qualifies, so the tables are held back rather than shown with results already known. Prop prices move on the lineup, and a board from a finished game tells you nothing useful about tonight.<\/p>\n

Prices are stored observations rather than live ones. A hockey line moves when the lineup is confirmed. Our projected NHL starting goalies<\/a> page is usually the first sign of it. Tonight’s full slate sits on the NHL schedule<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

How the last NHL player props board settled<\/h2>\n\n\n

The board above is between captures, so rather than leave you with nothing, here is how the last one actually settled. These are real lines from 20 October 2026<\/strong>, 11 games and 388 players, graded against the box scores after the fact. 3,054 of 3,488 lines could be settled.<\/p>\n\n\n

Shots on goal.<\/strong> The over landed 49.6 per cent of the time, which is the closest thing to a fair coin on this board. A market priced that tightly is one the book is confident in, and it is where a small edge has to come from reading the player rather than the number.<\/p>\n\n\n

Goals.<\/strong> The over landed just 16.1 per cent of the time. Goal props are lottery tickets priced like lottery tickets, and backing the over on them repeatedly is the quickest way to lose a bankroll slowly.<\/p>\n\n\n

Across every graded line the over went 534-993, a 35.0 per cent strike rate. That is the shape of almost every prop board in every sport: the recreational money backs players to do things, so the over carries the price and the under carries the value. It does not make the under a good bet by itself, because the price reflects it.<\/p>\n\n\n

The longest prices that came in. Each of these was an over at +150 or better that landed:<\/p>\n\n\n

A shots-on-goal line of 0.5 missing at those prices is the single most instructive thing on this page. A regular NHL forward failing to register one shot in a whole game is rare, which is exactly why it pays so little, and it still happened to several of them on the same night.<\/p>\n\n\n

Power play points are left out of the table on purpose. 374 of them were on the board, but the box score carries no power play breakdown per player, so there is no honest way to settle them from this data. We would rather leave a market out than grade it on a guess.<\/p>\n\n

Goalie saves and blocked shots are not priced for Canadian customers.<\/strong> Both appear in the American market. Neither shows up in the Canadian feed. If you have read about a goalie saves prop on a US site, that is why you cannot find it here.<\/p>\n

Which NHL props are actually worth betting<\/h2>\n

Shots on goal is the most reliable of the five.<\/strong> A player’s shot rate is far steadier week to week than whether a puck goes in. The lines sit at half-numbers around his average, so the book is not giving much away. The variance is still lower than anywhere else on the board.<\/p>\n

Anytime goalscorer is the opposite. It is the most popular prop and the hardest to beat. Scoring is rare and the prices carry a wide margin. A first-line forward at a short price is not a bargain just because he is good.<\/p>\n

Power-play points are the one most people ignore. They are also the most sensitive to information. A club with a top power play generates far more of them, and a change on the first unit matters more than form does. Special teams for all 32 are on our NHL power play rankings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The thing that moves all five is the lineup. Who is in net, who is on the first power play, who is scratched. That information lands at the morning skate, which is also when the prices move.<\/p>\n

Where to bet NHL player props in Canada<\/h2>\n

Prop depth varies more between sportsbooks than almost anything else. Some price five markets on every game. Some price two on the marquee game only. theScore Bet<\/strong> is the Canadian book in our feed and it is licensed in Ontario, so availability depends on where you are. Alberta opened its market in July 2026, and the rest of the country runs through provincial platforms.<\/p>\n
