We ask for consent in clear, plain language, separately for each purpose where the law requires it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site, each acting under contract: Google (GA4 analytics); our advertising and affiliate partners and networks (which receive click and referral data); our hosting and content-delivery provider; and our email provider if you subscribe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-where-your-information-is-processed\">Where your information is processed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of our providers, including Google, process data outside Canada, including in the United States. When personal information is transferred outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of those countries and accessible to their courts, law enforcement and authorities. We remain accountable for that information and use contractual measures to protect it. For Quebec residents, transfers outside Quebec are assessed as required by Law 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-long-we-keep-it\">How long we keep it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law: analytics data per our GA4 retention settings, newsletter data until you unsubscribe, and server logs for a limited period. After that it is deleted or anonymized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-we-protect-your-information\">How we protect your information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We use encryption in transit (TLS), access controls and agreements with our providers, and we work to keep personal information accurate and up to date. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-your-privacy-rights\">Your privacy rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access the personal information we hold about you, and how it is used and shared<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Withdraw consent, including unsubscribing from marketing, at any time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Request deletion of your personal information where applicable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data portability: receive the information you provided in a structured, commonly used technological format (a right for Quebec residents in force since September 2024)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To exercise any of these rights, contact our Privacy Officer. You also have the right to complain to a regulator: the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (federal); the Commission d&#8217;acces a l&#8217;information du Quebec (for Quebec residents); or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or British Columbia for residents of those provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-children\">Children<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our content concerns gambling and is intended for adults only: 19 or older in most provinces, and 18 or older in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
