There is no debate. Jonathan David<\/a> has scored 27 penalties<\/strong> at club level — comfortably the most in the squad — and he is also the player most often fouled in the box (seven penalties won), so he both takes and earns them. If Canada get a spot-kick, David is the automatic choice, with Cyle Larin (six club penalties) a credible backup if David is off the pitch.<\/p>
