There are no fresh fitness worries at Allianz Field, with both teams able to select from a full complement of players. Minnesota United will again turn to Kelvin Kwarteng Yeboah up top, the striker sitting on 13 goals from 57 shots (27 on target) this season, with Anthony Markanich pulling the strings just behind him after contributing 7 goals and 27 chances created of his own. LA Galaxy travel with Marco Reus expected to anchor the midfield, the playmaker responsible for 54 chances created and 6 goals, while Joseph Paintsil (5 goals, 20 shots on target) and Jo\u00e3o Klauss (5 goals in just 573 minutes) offer further direct routes to goal.<\/p>\n

It’s been a bruising few weeks for Minnesota United, who’ve lost their last 3 in the league, including a wild 5-4 defeat at Portland Timbers and a 4-2 reverse at St. Louis City SC, and they’ll need a much tighter defensive display at the back to arrest the slide. LA Galaxy haven’t fared much better away from home, but a defence has to contend with genuine quality in Reus and Paintsil to make this a tricky watch for the home side.
