The Mario Balotelli Effect: Three Liverpool players that will benefit from the arrival of the mercurial Italian

AC Milan's Balotelli reacts after missing a goal opportunity against Inter Milan during their Italian Serie A soccer match in Milan

The imminent arrival of Mario Balotelli, one of the most exciting football players around, is sure to have football fans all over England in envy of Brendan Rodgers and his business.

Balotelli may not be the most prolific front man around Europe, but his charisma, global name and all-round diminutive nature means Liverpool have added a bit of spice to their rank – necessary after the departure of Luis Suarez.

The Italy international said his goodbyes this morning to the staff at the club and with his signature soon to be put down on Liverpool paperwork, it will most certainly be good news for a number of players at the club.
