Old Trafford hosts the first of this season’s Manchester derby on Saturday and it’s shaping up to be the biggest one in recent memory.
Both clubs endured disappointing 2015/16 campaigns in the league as City pipped United to the final Champions League spot, although they each ended the season with a piece of silverware.
However, it’s the Premier League which matters most to these clubs and as a result of last season’s disaster, both have changed managers and brought in serial winners.
Jose Mourinho has replaced Louis van Gaal for United, while across the City, Pep Guardiola succeeded Manuel Pellegrini – although that was announced in February – raising interest in this weekend’s clash even more.
The pair have clashed numerous time during their time in La Liga with Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively, with the Spaniard usually coming out on top.
This season they have each guided their respective Manchester club to a perfect start, meaning one 100% record will fall one way or another.
Ahead of the derby, it has been revealed that City supporters have the right to call Manchester their home.
