Reports: Brooklyn Beckham said to be impressing at Arsenal youth academy

David Beckham’s son, Brooklyn, is impressing his coaches at the Arsenal youth academy and could face competition from his brothers Romeo and Cruz, report The Daily Mail.

Since enrolling at Arsenal’s Hale End academy, David Beckham’s son Brooklyn, is looking likely to have the ability to back up the status that comes with his name. With his brothers Romeo and Cruz also on Arsenal’s books, Arsene Wenger will be hoping that the Beckham dynasty will develop into players that can replicate their fathers talent.

At just 15-years-old, Beckham was named as a substitute in Arsenal’s under under-18 match against Leicester City last weekend. The teenager will wait with bated breath to see if he is once again named in the under-18’s squad ahead of discovering if the North London team will retain his services next season.

Having raised through the age groups, Brooklyn is said to be modelling his style of play on his fathers unique manner. Playing on the right-wing, Brooklyn likes to drift into central positions and have a few shots on goal. He is also said to be rather handy at set pieces. He will have a long way to go before he can start to replicate his Dad’s standards as David managed to create 6 chances for his final club PSG, where he played just 10 games.

If Brooklyn is to remain at Arsenal he stands the chance of being overshadowed by his younger brothers. Twelve-year-old Romeo, was said to be highly impressive during Arsenal’s under-13 3-2 win over Liverpool on Thursday, where he scored one goal. On the other hand 10-year-old Cruz is said to be even better by experts at the Academy.

Arsenal have created 299 chances this season
