Henen, 19, spent last season on loan at Everton but the Toffees confirmed his permanent signature recently and the Blues are now set to send him out on loan in order to continue his development.
Interest has surfaced from the Championship mainly with the likes of Derby County, Wolves and Bolton Wanderers all linked, but it seems that Leeds United are winning the race for his signature.
The Elland Road club appointed another new manager this summer with former Wigan Athletic boss, Uwe Rosler, coming in to replace Neil Redfearn who had done a good job of steering the club clear of the relegation zone.
Henen has stepped up speculation linking him with a move to Elland Road as he favourited the following tweet, which claims the Yorkshire club are keen on signing him on loan.

The Toffees may have high hopes for the Belgian starlet moving forward; however, right now, Roberto Martinez doesn’t really have the time nor space for him in his starting line-up. A short-term loan, or potentially a season-long deal, with a club like Leeds could be good for his development as it would allow Henen to get used to English football.
