Liverpool target Yevhen Konoplyanka has spoken at his ‘shock’ about his possible transfer to the Premier League club.

The Ukrainian winger could be set to a move to Liverpool, who are chasing Champions League qualification, as they’re in talks with his club, Dnipro.

The editor-in-chief of Russian football website Sport-Express, Artur Petrosyan, tweeted a quote from Konoplyanka regarding the interest from Liverpool.

The move for Konoplyanka looks to be nearing completion with Liverpool managing director, Ian Ayre, apparently already in Ukraine trying to negotiate a deal with Dnipro to bring the talented winger to Merseyside.

Konoplyanka impressed the English media in both games against Ukraine in England’s World Cup qualifying campaign. He even scored a wonderful goal at Wembley.
