The 18-year-old made his debut last season and ended up retaining his place in the first-team by making 24 appearances in the top flight.
He was then retained in the side at the start of the current campaign and has since made 26 appearances, keeping seven clean sheets – one fewer than last term.
His landmark appearance came in their goalless draw away to the reigning Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain, as the teenager did what most goalkeepers have been unable to do this season and keep a clean sheet against Edinson Cavani.
18 – Alban Lafont has become the youngest keeper to play 50 games in Ligue 1 over the last 30 years (18 yo). Wonder.

No other goalkeeper at Toulouse has played a single minute of league action this season, showing the faith that Lafont has in him from the coaching staff.
The teenager’s story is very much like Gianluigi Donnarumma’s at AC Milan, as the Italian broke into the team at 16 years old and has not looked back either, clocking up 59 appearances in all competitions already.
