The 18-year-old has been the talk of the town of late, after some dazzling performances this season in Ligue 1 and the Champions League for Leonardo Jardim’s men.
The France international made history this week when he became the first player in history to score in each of his first four Champions League knockout games.
The Monaco starlet was not done there and also became the youngest player in history to score in both legs of a Champions League quarter final, after hitting a few past Borussia Dortmund.
With his profile rising with virtually every passing week, a number of European giants have been linked with the young forward – but Guily believes Mbappe will remain in France for another year.
“He has a contract with Monaco and he is going to be here for another year,” Giuly told reporters on Friday, after the Champions League semi-final draw.
“There has to be complete calmness with him, he has a lot of talent and we are happy with him.”
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for Mbappe – who has scored 22 goals and registered eight assists across all competitions this term – but there is also reported interest from Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Manchester United.
