Lionel Messi picks his 10 most promising youngsters in world football

Barcelona and Argentina superstar Lionel Messi has included Patrick Roberts in his pick of the 10 most promising youngsters in the world.

The 29-year-old, regarded as the best player in the world, revealed his list to Marca and there was a place for the Manchester City starlet, who is spending the season on loan at Celtic and has been compared to Messi in the past.

Roberts spent the second half of last season with Scottish giants and scored six goals in 11 appearances to catch the attention of the Barca no.10.
