Former Aston Villa and England striker Dion Dublin set to release a charity Christmas album

Former Aston Villa and England forward Dion Dublin has announced he is set to release a Christmas album all in aid of charity.

The 45-year-old footballer-turned-TV pundit confirmed that ‘Dion Dublin’s Christmas Presents’ will be officially released on Monday November 24th.

The Leicester-born star Dion Dublin is no stranger to making music, having previously released an England World Cup song titled ‘Winner in You’ over the summer.

Dublin can also play the saxophone, and manages a Nottingham-based band named ‘The Establishment’. He tweeted out “hope you all like it” prior to it’s upcoming launch.

Dublin, who scored 111 goals in 312 Premier League appearances during spells with Manchester United, Coventry City, Aston Villa and Leicester City, was also supported by BBC presenter Dan Walker, who tweeted “That my friends…is a Christmas album”.

Every £1 from the sale of each album will contribute to the Bobby Moore Fund charity.
