Lyon have confirmed the signing of Claudio Beauvue from Guingamp on their official website.
Beauvue scored 17 goals in Ligue 1 last season, making him the joint-fourth highest scorer in the division, and he had a chance conversion rate of 22.7%. He also scored an additional five goals in eight Europa League appearances.

The 27-year-old passed a medical earlier this week, and Lyon have revealed that he has signed a four-year deal, though they have not announced the transfer fee.
Lyon finished second in the league last season, eight points behind Paris Saint-Germain at the top of the table, and they have qualified for the Champions League group stage for the first time since 2011/12 as a result.
Beauvue’s arrival will bolster Hubert Fournier’s options in attack, and he will compete with the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Nabil Fekir, and Clinton N’Jie for a place up front.
Lacazette enjoyed a superb season last term, and he was the top scorer in the league with 27 goals. The France international’s form has attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal, and Sky Sports report that Lyon are ready to offer him an improved deal worth £2.9 million per year to secure his future. If he does leave, Lyon will at least have an alternative in Beauvue.
